I do find it interesting though…

Paul addresses a young man’s method of communicating to older man before he addresses an older man’s method of communicating to younger men. It seems that Paul, an older man, understands the temptations that will present itself to Timothy, a younger man, as he leads (maybe Paul is remembering his own struggle with pride when he addressed Peter about the gentile believers?).

I have found myself in need of those words from *Paul, over and over again, when I was in a position of young leadership in the church.
